Hi friend! I’m so stoked that you’re here and considering me as your wedding photographer!

Before we jump into investment and other details, I’d love for you to get a sense of my style and what to expect from me! Listed below are commonly asked wedding photographer questions, my answers, and a little more about me. If you’re considering hiring me as your wedding photographer, you’re probably curious about who I am and what to expect from me.

I’ve got ya covered. Here are a few questions I’ve been asked over the years!  

1. How would you describe your style?  

Photojournalism (still posing when needed), bold, natural light, FUN. I’ll probably be in the middle of the dance floor during your reception while your guests get jiggy with it — such fun shots and a really cool perspective!

2. What separates you from other photographers?  

I think it’s important to build a friendship with my couples. I’m not arriving “just as another vendor.” I’m not there to “get in and get out.” I’ve cried on my couples’ wedding day, had a beer with them, and danced with them. I’m your photographer, but I hope we can be friends, too.  

3. What’s your favorite part of a wedding day? 

That’s TOUGH. There are so many beautiful moments, but my favorites have to be when my couples share their “first look”, father/daughter/mother/son dances (I’ve cried more times during those than I should admit), and when the dance floor OPENS. We love seeing everyone enjoy the evening. We’ve witnessed + captured (*wink*) some pretty beautiful (and hilarious) dance floor moments.  

4. How many weddings have you shot in your career? 

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2011! I’ve photographed more than 125 weddings in my career.

5. Do you work from a shot list?  

I can! While I primarily only need a shot list of any family photos you might need, I’ll gladly accommodate any requests you have.  

6. How many hours are included in the package?  

Eight hours! 

7. Do I have to order prints from you?  

Nope! I give you printing rights to your images. You can print wherever you’d like — I can give recommendations for the best quality prints.  

8. How will we receive our wedding images?  

Via online gallery. All of your images will be on that link (never expires) We do recommend you download all images and save them to another device/hard drive just to be safe!  

9. How much is the deposit?  There is a 50% deposit due when booking to reserve your wedding date. This comes out of your total. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the wedding date!
